Madame Nyx

This is Madame Nyx, she is an American Shorthair with black fur.

I came accross Madame Nyx at Petco one fateful night about five years ago while I picking some dog food for a friend. She was in the cat adoption area. Her name at the time was Mouse, she looked miserable inside the little cage. I went up to the cage and she came right up and to the front of the cage and was very friendly. I inquired about her and the staff gave me her file. Her assessment was for the most part was empty. The file stated she was not friendly and that they could not get anything other than some blood work and they guessed that she was 3 or 4 years old.
I'm guessing she hated the shelter she was in. I took her home that night and learned that she loves to play. She loves to play with toy mouses if you throw them and chase feathers on a string. She prefers dry cat food but loves canned tune. She also likes egg yolks but only if I made eggs for me. She likes my chicken and but not much other meat products. She does not like to be covered but will get under the covers when it is cold. She love poeple to pet her but she only allows me to carry her but she didn't like that at first. Took a couple of years before she let me carry her.
